- BCP will invest more than S/ 39 million in this project through the Works for Taxes mechanism.
Arequipa, March 25, 2024.- BCP, which is committed to developing the country’s education infrastructure, signed an agreement with GORE Arequipa to finance and execute a project to expand and improve the Ludwing Van Beethoven school in Arequipa with an investment of more than S/ 39 million through the Work for Taxes mechanism. The Ludwing Van Beethoven project focuses on improving and expanding the primary and secondary schools. It includes building classrooms for both levels, as well as a learning innovation space, laboratories, school library, multi-purpose room, among others.
“With this investment, BCP has affirmed its commitment to sustainably development in the country through improvements to education infrastructure and we are convinced that the private sector can, through the Works for Taxes mechanism, join the State in efforts to improve the quality of life of thousands of Peruvians,” commented Bernier Chaman at BCP.
